These brothers, Pål and Axel, are part of a popular local band which goes by the lovely name of Kakkmaddafakka. Their shows are full of energy and humour, and this summer you can find them at festivals such as Storåsfestivalen, Malakoff and Lost Weekend. "A lot of our clothes are from a store here in Bergen called Steez, but not my [Pål] sunglasses. They're from Dolce & Gabbana."

Vacation-season
You may have noticed we don't publish pictures as frequent as we used to do before. That is because vacation-season has just started, and we're both in desperate need of some rest. So from now on, we will try to update every second day, but we can't guarantee anything. We hope that you'll still stick around for new people and new styles this summer.

Ayia Napa vs Roskilde
This guy's sweater was more a minty shade, so one can say that the picture doesn't really credit that. His name is André (20), and apparently we have taken pictures of some of his friends - it's kind of cool that a lot of the style scene people hang out together. André was carrying around a pile of travel catalogues, so we asked him a bit about them: "Oh, some friends of mine and I were kidding around and decided that we should go to a place where it's hot and touristy. But that just dumb, we're really going to Roskilde."

Dropz
While browsing through a stack of clothes at a sample sale, we ran into Torgeir (25) as he was flying around on his skateboard. Not only is he responsible for the Fashion Fuel sample sale, but also for a new online store called Dropz. "Today I am really happy and excited, because yesterday we got the distribution for a brand called Trainerspotter, and it's awesome." Check out the sample sale if you are in Bergen (from Wednesday to Saturday, from 12 AM to 6-7 PM)! Also - notice the cool watch on his wrist!

Kauf dich glücklich
This lady's attitude was obvious from across the street, we just couldn't pass by without taking a picture. Her name is Kjerstin (26) and she was waiting for her shift to begin at the much talked about café, Pingvinen. "I think clothes are important, to a certain point. But I do not care about fashion, it's vain." The text on her bag say 'Kauf Dich Glücklich" - anyone care to translate?

Earrings are a girls best friends
Summer has come to Bergen, and the city is all sweaty and sunny. We met Mari (18) at the local good-will shop, and she turned out to be a Brgnstil-reader! "In Bergen I shop at H&M and Pepper, while American Apparel is my favourite when I'm abroad. Recently, I have started to buy more things online. That way, the clothes I wear are harder to spot on other people in Bergen." Check out those sweet earrings too!

Sneakers are best when paired
Hans Fredrik (22) and Marie (20) were stylish yet few of words. They study law and psychology (from left to right). Hans Fredrik told us that internet inspired him, then an outburst came from Marie: "By the way, I bought these Keep shoes on the internet!" Notice their cool sneakers and the combo with khaki and purple - khaki and purple is big in Bergen.

T Michael
This is T Michael (40), one of Bergen's leading designers and probably one of the classiest men one will ever meet. T Michael makes clothes for men, clothes that are more than fashion. Clothes with a certain point of reference. "I'm preoccupied by the clothes being of a certain quality. My designs are tailored and made out of interesting fabrics," states T Michael. As his business card puts it, this is "clothing for the man with a defined sense of style". Check out more of his designs at t-michael.com or at his store/atelier located in Skostredet 9a, Bergen.

Pepper pepper pepper
By now, we understand that we have developed a tendency of stopping people who work at Pepper. But you know, what can we do. They're really too good-looking and stylish to not stop. Pictured here, is Vegard (35), owner of Pepper. We asked him if he had anything wise to say about fashion, and [surprise] obviously, he had much to tell: "To me, music and clothes are connected, so music is a major influence of mine. The internet has also made it a lot more simple to stay updated on the new brands and trends, because trends change so fast now and I need to know what's going on, being that I work with clothes. And magazines are also a great influence, although I don't think there are any good magazines around for men. I personally enjoy Cover (DK), i-D and Dazed and Confused."
